A real gem of a hotel
Excellent from check in to check out. A very comfortable large room in the old part of the hotel. A charming bar and lounge with a great choice of cocktails and a real old school ambiance.
The food was amazing. We had a three course dinner from the residents menu which was superb.
Breakfast the following day was also first class.
Will definitely return.
Could Do Better
A dreary hotel with very little to recommend it except for the staff. who were excellent. No hint of luxury whatsoever. Room was clean and spacious but basic. No toiletries except for soap dispenser attached to bathroom wall. Food was OK and service good. Maybe after visiting Cotswold pubs I was expecting a log fire and cosy seating but his was not to be found at Stanton Manor.
Lovely Manor House
Been renovated to a high standard lovely bathroom great food it was a lovely stop over for our trip to Southampton
Lovely stay
I stayed with my cousin in a twin room.
Staff were excellent ...very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and the beds comfortable with a good view of the grounds from the window.
The restaurant was very good with a good breakfast and an excellent dinner.
We had a couple of good days out in Bath via the lark and ride.
We like to go away to celebrate our birthdays. There were two NT locations close, this hote,
Excellent Refurbished Room
Room was large and well equipped with all new and stylish furniture and fittings.
Bathroom also large with quality facilities.
Premises had a lot of character with pleasant gardens.
Stanton Manor
Overall food and accommodation was very good.
Only two items to comment on;
The television needs updating to a Smart one, as mainstream tv not always entertaining.
Electric heaters in room very effective, but addition of a timer would ensure the room is not cold when you first enter, especially during the colder months
